edit..heehee teri great minds think alike.. here we go rocking the boat again.. we were typing at the same time..
.here is my question about this... one of many i am sure.
will we be able to upload images that are already set up as greeting cards? several of us are already selling cards on other sites and have the templates made, the images finished as 5x7 cards, some have text on the front , some may not.
are these going to be allowed to be uploaded or will the buyer only be able to place an image in a preset template and add text on the site?
I will have to study the earnings list a little better. For one off cards at our POD sites we earn 56 cents and up depending on the site. this is for using our images as we have uploaded, we keyword and describe, categorize and wait on review there as well. we have nothing to do with printing or mailing.
am i reading the dt release correctly that we will be earning 6 or 7 cents per card? i am open for correction on that point.
on those cards the buyer can change the inside message. if there is on site added text , they can add, change (message, font, color) or take it off completely. however if the card is uploaded with text already in place it cannot be taken off or changed.
we can add our own verses( and thus they are copyright protected as well) or some of us leave them blank inside for buyer personalization, i would like to know more about how this will be handled as well.
we also have our artist credits on the back of the cards and many of us add our © to the cards. i will be curious to see what happens exactly and if i have read the commissions correctly.
i do agree partnering with myspace and possibly more places like this will be a boost, i just want to be a little clear on some of the specifics
