Christmas items and decor started showing up, in abundance, in stores around me in MIDDLE OF AUGUST!! Can you believe that??!! I remember when I was a kid, Thanksgiving stuff came out right after halloween, and christmas stuff came out right after thanksgiving. I used to love Christmas, but I'm starting to feel a huge consumerism push into it that I'm not liking, ya know? When the holiday is dragged out too long, it tends to drag some of the fun and meaning out of it as well, in my opinion. posted in Does Christmas Come Too Early?
