The purpose of having the servers upload images sequential rather than simultaneous was to evenly distribute the work the servers needs to do and avoid having thousands of uploads in the same second. That would have made things even slower. The current procedure has indeed this unpleasant waiting time but has the advantage of going without difficulties or overloads at all times. And be honest 10 minutes is not that long, you can use it for doing something else make it part of your routine. posted in Upload suggestion
