Some of them are a little dark, and I think that some of them tend to be to in a direction that may be too artistic. This is stock photography, and beautiful, gallery quality photos will not sell as well as the usual, and mundane. I know that stinks. I love to take pictures simply for the beauty, but you have to consider what are people who buy stock looking for. Photos that are easy to find, and get to match the message that they want to get across.
I am a graphic designer by trade, so I know that when I have a client with a specific need I have to find a photo, quickly, that best meets that need. It would not be as likely that A client would want a feather on rocks with water one it, even thought it is a beautiful shot, but rather I could see them wanting a feather in the air, or laying in a pool of water.
I would also recommend that you put more images up. Lots more. If you feel like your sales are not where you want them to be then you need to have more images on the site to increase your exposure. Also I would look at what sells the most. Not to copy, but to get an idea of what people that delve into stock photos are looking for.
My best advice for you is to keep up the good work and keep adding to your portfolio. Eventually you will get a better understanding of your style, vs, what people are looking for in your photography.
In fact you might want to look into some of the request for specific photos that are on the site, and see if any of them are something you can pull off well.
Thanks, I hope this helps.
Have a great day!
