I once coined a phrase "You can try to take the photographer out of the picture, but you can’t take the picture without the photographer." I am an award winning photographer of the Nature Photographers of the Pacific Northwest (NPPNW), Columbia Council of Camera Clubs, University of Oregon Photography Competition, City of Veneta, and Emerald Photographic Society (EPS). I was the EPS President in 2012. I volunteer time and photographic skills with the Free Photo Project. I believe in teaching and mentoring others to improve their photographic skills.
