Well.. after all is said..
and what the major issue is:
Selling your photography and artwork on web sites that you can create on prints/tee/ cards/webtemplates etc..and/or selling your photography and artwork at artshows or your local craft fair, etc... . is another source of income for members. This TOS is blocking them generating any other source of income.
Two things can or should happen:
1: Exclusive contributors change their status as a partial exclusive
2: Dreamstime considers creating an Exclusive Contributors Store Front.
(meaning: Exclusive Contributors now can sell their photograghy and artwork on this website store: Tee shirt selection: Business Card selection: Postcards and Posters and so forth.. and maybe a skateboard... ;0)
Following Markogt's suggestion, maybe DT can partner with another site that sells prints, T-shirts, postcards, business cards etc and share the commissions, with the option for individual photographers to opt in/out? Seems like a good new revenue for DT and an edge over other sites
I believe this will be a great asset for Dreamstime. There are alot of talented and creative photographers and artists here that can really bring this to a great success.. and also, this will encourage more out of the members to be free with their creativity.
That's my message. ;0)
