Born in Holland, but lived all of her life in Italy.
Manuela grown up scholastically to build out new homes, but her goals where others, still not yet to know. She takes different classes like a Croquet class in Danmark at the "The Animation Workshop", mock-up for pubblicity at "John Kaverdash" in Italy and there also a class for staind-glass windows. Last one was with Svjetlan Junakovic on mixed painting style.
She, can be said, borned with a pencil in her hand, but it took a while before she knew that her path was illustrating for childrens.
Manuela makes her living working as a graphic with the pc till '89, but this year she made 3 books for MightyBook in Texas (animated books), and she works for a scholastic books serie in Italy.
Member of the SCBWI, lives currently near Milan, often visiting London sketching at the British Museum or traveling around places, where her inspiration come from. |
