Hi,
Can I buyer search for 'Exclusive only content' on Dreamstime?
I've tried to find such a feature but can't seem to find it, if it doesn't exist, don't you think its about time it did exist?!

I think this has been suggested in the past:
Exclusive Search
Sounds like it would be added in a future upgrade of the search engine.
P.S. my understanding is that exclusive images have higher priority in search result placements. |

Have been talking to another DT photog today and we both feel this should be added as a matter of urgency.
Obviously the non-exclusive 'Big Contributers' will not benefit from it, but hey, you shouldn't be able to be non-exclusive AND get preferential treatment too.

But then it gonna feel like DT is forcing exclusivity, and that's not a good feeling. You guys get payed for every upload and you have higher % revenue anyway. I wouldn't feel it fair, if exclusive images would have higher priority in search results.
Although I'm not against the options buyers can select, if they want to search only among exclusive images. That would be okay - it would be buyer choice - but higher priority in search results is not good. |

I agree... search results should be purely based on relevancy to the search term used, but I think an option to look for DT exclusive images is a must. Buyers may not wish to look through stacks of images available on multiple other sites, and at present there is no way for them to weed out those files and get just the Dreamstime exclusive images.

Then why not let the BUYERS choose whether they have to trawl through pages of images available on certain other sites too.

That would be very good!! Buyers should have more control over search engine - it really would help to make this site more attractive for buyers. They should have all opportunities to find all images THEY need, not what system wants to show them. System can be manipulated. If search engine would be more open, have more options, search results could be less manipulative. (Sorry for my English!) And of course it depends on programmers :)
It would be nice also to perform a search based on certain criterion, without keyword. To find certain type of images of selected contributor, for example. |

That's simple. We just need a mind reading device that reads the buyer's brain waves to find out what he/she wants without his/her typing in any keywords, then we need an image search program with artificial intelligence and object pattern recognitions that can find images that contain the desired elements without the needs of keywords. The search results do not even need to be displayed on screen as they can be sent directly back to the buyer's brain and obtain instant feedback from it and fine tune the relevancy of the results using fuzzy logic. The best part is that the buyer doesn't even need to consciously click on the download button as the program automatically sends the best matched image(s) to the buyer and deducts money from the account....
