Jani Riekkinen

Hey! My name is Jani Riekkinen and I´m Finnish self-taught landscape and outdoor photographer. I have a day-job as a design engineer in a Finnish railway company but I'm also a hiker and passionate photographer. My images are all about the outdoors and I try to telling a story about them. I’m constantly trying to improve my skills and style by exploring new tricks and techniques in search for the perfect photograph. In the future, I'm going to travel more to special places where I can take amazing landscapes pictures.

I love being outside and I love the never ending challenge of trying to portray ‘that feeling’, you know, the warm evenings at twilight, the sense of isolation when you have forest to yourself, the sound of waves lapping the shore of an empty beach.
