Explore the great indoors
With the Covid-19 outbreak around the world and the need to distance ourselves spatially and socially, we all spend most of our time indoors. If you're running out of ideas on what to do at home, here's a fun challenge: explore the great indoor and find the creativity within.
First of all, wash your hands each time you return indoor. Once you've done this, you're ready for the most exciting adventure of all. Re-discover your home with all its corners, re-arrange it, clean it, re-decorate it, take a trip to the attic, fall in love with its small details. And when you get bored of home discoveries, it's time for some inside action. You now get to spend more time with your family, your pets or simply on your own so enjoy it. Practice some indoor aerobics, organize a family karaoke night, hit the living room dance floor, do a bit of couch slouching, try to climb the laundry basket, play hide and seek, set up a bedroom tent, take a long bubble bath or simply experiment in the kitchen.
Second, this is the perfect time to get creative. Take advantage of this period and see it as a great opportunity to create, draw, design, shoot your favorite subjects in manners never explored before. You're inside but get out of the box and see, maybe there are filters and settings you have not tried before. Monochrome still life, unusual pet habits, funny faces, wide angle portraits, minimalist home corners, your house is the perfect setting to get creative. Experiment with indoor light, try new still life angles, get into macro and details, play with colors, shapes and shadows, have fun with patterns, invent or draw stories. The list of ideas is long, just let your imagination flow.
Let's stay indoor!
